pay

By paying for and hiring from Mavis and Foxe, you agree to our terms and conditions . All our items are priced on our website and all hire goods remain the property of Mavis and Foxe.

BOND

There is no bond but If any damage or replacement needs to be made for furniture or boutique hire products you will be charged an invoice for this.  This invoice will need to be paid 24 hours after being issued.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made online via our bank account.   An invoice will be sent out to you to have a look over and agree to for the goods, the delivery of goods (if that is what you require) as well as the bond payment.  50 percent deposit will secure your order and the remaining balance will need to be paid (funds cleared) 7 days before the order arrives to you.  Account details will be on the invoice.

Please note that in the busy season November-March items are book up fast so please make sure you get your order to us as soon as possible.  If you are overseas and are paying by an international bank account that you also pay the international transfer fee.  

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please advise us of all cancellations as soon as you possibly can.  The following cancellation charges may apply.  21 or more days no charge  20 days or less - 100 percent of your deposit will not will be refunded but your bond will be refunded.  Cancellation fees will be taken form the hire/bond.  The remaining amount, will be refunded to the person who is hiring the goods.

clean

HIRAGE PERIOD 

Rental Period: 3 Days (allows for set up / event day / collection).

DELIVERY

We deliver to the Wellington region for a very small set fee.   For events outside of this zone an additional travel fee applies.  This will be done once location, item requirements, etc are known). 

SET UP

It does not include set up and styling of tableware, accessories, decor and goods.  We do offer additional styling and set up services, which can be discussed during the quote process - Please look at our Event Set Up page on the website for price estimates.

Furniture – Trestle tables, chairs, bench seats and boutique bars will all be set up on delivery and packed down on pick up.

CLEANING AND CONDITION OF GOODS

All items will be sterilised and clean when it arrives to you. We check and inspect all goods before they are dispatched and when they are returned.  In the event of any damage in transit to you please notify us and we will do our best to replace the item.  We understand the accidents do happen so please let us know if anything has been broken.  Items will be charged at the cost to buy a replacement plus any applicable packaging costs.  Please return your goods in the same way you found them and with all of the packaging (excluding tissue paper and stickers)

glassware

Vintage glassware and china is fragile and more easily damaged than modern so please take care when handling.  Mavis and Foxe are happy to take the glassware and china back unwashed but if you want to wash it please only hand-wash in mild detergent and repack in the manner you received them.

linen

Please do not wash the Vintage Linen - Mavis and Foxe launder and Iron through a professional company.  If it is stained badly please let us know and we can fix it.  A extra charge of $2 dollars will be charged. 

microwaves, dishwashers and ovens

Please do not put any of our items in the microwave, oven or dishwasher.
